Now

A running snapshot of what I'm actually doing. Updated roughly once a month. Inspired by Derek Sivers' now page movement.

Currently building

At Clip, designing and governing the quality systems that sit under our payments infrastructure — test architecture, CI/CD pipeline governance, and the frameworks that make releases safe at scale.

Personally: POLQA, a modular framework for LLM output evaluation and bias detection. The problem it solves — reproducible, cross-model, auditable AI evaluation — is still mostly unsolved in production contexts.

Currently learning

Going deeper on AI governance frameworks and how they interact with financial regulation — specifically what DORA and emerging LATAM fintech compliance frameworks mean for teams running LLMs in production.

On the creative side: medium format film photography. Slower, more deliberate. Good counterweight to the terminal.

Currently creating

A photography series focused on CDMX street architecture — the overlap between brutalist structure and organic decay. No filters. Shot on film.

A few ambient music sketches that may or may not become something. Mostly modular synthesis and field recordings.

Rebuilt this site — moving away from a static CV toward something that actually reflects what I do across technical and creative work. This now page is part of that effort.

Latest writing: Bias, Hallucinations & Dirty Data— on why LLM evaluation failures are usually a data problem first.
