Now

A running snapshot of what I'm actually doing. Updated roughly once a month. Inspired by Derek Sivers' now page movement.

Currently building

Leading core quality architecture, backend automation, and technical governance for the e-wallet ecosystem at Clip. Focusing on high-throughput backend resiliency, transactional integrity, and integration testing pipelines at scale.

Developing Valua, an open-source, high-performance Rust framework designed for embedding and interfacing safely with lua 5.5 + with luaJIT scripting runtimes.

Currently learning

Preparing for the AWS Solutions Architect Professional and CPTS certifications to validate engineering experience with industry frameworks.

Studying the technical aspects of medium format film photography and manual development.

Currently creating

Valu, a photography studio focus project. Currently producing a series documenting CDMX street architecture on medium format film, focusing on the intersection of brutalist design and urban decay.

Composing minimalist ambient tracks using modular synthesis, field recordings, and acoustic percussion.

Recently shipped
